We work closely with the local authority and most importantly keep your neighbours in the loop where relevant to get early buy in from them. Over 95% of our planning applications have been successful on first application, including many contentious applications.
During the planning stage we also ensure compliance with the latest building regulations.
We will approach your neighbours with the aim of them confirming they are happy with a simple signature; they do have the option to request a surveyor to be involved and should this be necessary we can arrange the various visits and paperwork to ensure conformity to the regulations.
Freeholder / Managing Agents Permissions and Licence to Alter
We also regularly seek Freeholder permissions and License to Alter on our clients behalf. These are normally required within the renovation of properties owned on Leasehold basis or Share of Freehold. The process varies depending on the Managing Agents although we have extensive experience with seeking these permissions.
